Hi Everyone,
Hope you survived the “deep freeze” and are able to get out and enjoy the snow in this warmer winter weather!
Here’s what we have for you this week:
Office Hours Reminder:
If you would like to come in for office hours, you MUST sign in at the front desk. This makes it easier for payroll to approve time cards, as well as being able to reach out to staff in the event client coverage is needed. If you would like office hours, you can come in for up to, but not exceeding, 36 hours. Please anticipate your direct service hours before coming in for office hours. In the event a program is cancelled, you are welcome to come in for office hours. While at the office, please check in with the Specialized Team/PSIs, located in Room 20, to see if there are any specific tasks that need to be completed. Please also check with the BAs on your teams to see if anything for clients needs to be done.
Upcoming Staff Events:
Paint and sip is scheduled for Friday, 2/2, at about 6:30/7:00.
Ninja Warrior is tentatively scheduled for Friday, 2/2, though the gentleman running it has yet to get back to me. People should feel free to sign up for any/all the events in which they would like to participate, yet they should be aware that the Ninja Warrior date may change, if the guy cannot host us on that date. I will provide further information about Ninja Warrior when I receive it.
We need to know your preferences no later than Monday the 15th at 9am and will confirm who when and where in next Wed Hooplas!!!
Timekeeper Award:
Because Heidi believes that people who she doesn’t have to nag should get rewarded, Mariah Charbonneau has won a Timekeeper Award! Mariah please stop by the business office to pick up an envelope containing $25 cash! Look forward to another winner being announced next pay period.
Changes Around the Office:
- Please note: Now that we have the “Sparklers” space up and running, the downstairs conference room will be used solely for internal meetings. Meetings that are held with outside guests should be held in other rooms upstairs, including the Library. Please note, that the stairs next to the front lobby should be used to transport not the stairs opposite the business office (they are steep and can be a safety hazard).
- If you have driving bonus forms or material forms to turn in, they should go in Lesha’s confidential folder in the wall file holder next to the front desk. There will no longer be folders for these next to the copier
