Hi Everyone,
- The winner of this pay periods Timekeeper Award is Amanda Larose. Thank you for keeping good track of your time card! Please stop by the business office for your award of $25 cash!
- We are offering an Ethics Discussion Topic on 2/28 from 6-7:30pm. It is being offered after hours so anyone can join if interested. If you would like to participate please email Jenn Johnson to RSVP by 2/26. We will have some snacks, and you will be paid for this time. Some of you joined an Ethics Discussion in October that sort of piloted this. Please be advised that the content in the 28th will be similar to that discussion; however, you are welcome to join again. We have additional Ethics Training times on May 30th, September 5th and December 12th. The content for each will be similar; so, if you can’t make this one, and are interested, you can likely join another one. Hope to see you there!
- Don’t forget to RSVP to Jenn Johnson if you are interested in trying a Jazzercise class on February 23th at 6:00pm at the Creek Farm Plaza in Colchester. It will be a special class for SD employees so it will be super fun! It will be a mix if dance, cardio/kickboxing and strength from 6-7. Then we will all go out for burgers and beer at the Spanked Puppy afterward! We already have some people signed up. You can also bring a friend. Let Jenn know if you are interested or have questions.
- We are holding a raffle for $25, entry for which can be earned by correctly answering the following questions pertaining to the Sd Scoop and the survey included. Hint: read the scoop and you will be able to find all of your answers. Also, be sure to complete the survey in the Sportball section. You will need to copy and paste the link into your browser. Please send your responses to Liam at Liam.Loughlin@sdplus.org by next Tuesday, February 20, 2018. The winner of the raffle will be selected at random from the pool of submissions.
The questions:
- Who are the staff featured in the “Spotlight on Staff?”
- Where did the 2nd staff member in the list complete their undergraduate studies?
- What was the theme for paint and sip?
- How many sports are listed in the survey?
- How many sports are listed on the “sportball” shield emblem?
- What are the three programs covered in the HR section of the scoop?
- Parking Reminder: On Wednesdays, if you are not transporting clients, please park across the street at Rite Aid. Today there was no parking for staff with clients and parents and visitors all day. Employees were having to park in front of the dumpster, in front of mail boxes, and on the side of the road.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! We LOVE the work you do, and hope you do too!
