For All BI Staff..
Important!!! Rule 4500 paperwork is being changed. This involves
a change in paperwork and the process. We will no longer be using
the old form. As we are currently working on this system, until
further notice, if a behavior occurs with a client you are working
with that has in the past warranted the completion of a rule 4500
paperwork, please reach out to your Behavior Analyst, a Program
Manager, or the Coordinator on Call. We will help to assist you in
this process and make sure the correct process is followed.

A message from Angie D’Amico, our new special educator.
Hello lovely people!
If you could please fill out this survey about Social Arts at
your earliest convenience, that would be wonderful. I could not be

PENGUIN PLUNGE
Can we add a shout out for the Penguin Plunge team The Frost and the Furious and tell people in the Hooplas that we’ll have another team this year and if they are interested to email me at jen.johnson@sdplus.org We have a great turn out year after year and would love to get at least 5 staff who have never jumped before to join his year!
The Penguin Plunge will take place in February, as it does every
year. Our team name is THE FROST AND THE FURIOUS, and we
will continue this fun tradition this coming winter. People who
have never jumped into freezing cold water are especially
encouraged to join! There is always a high level of participation,
and we would love if at least five new jumpers were on this year’s
team. Please contact Jenn Johnson at jen.johnson@sdplus.org for
more information if you are interested in TAKING THE PLUNGE.
FOR MONTPELIER
We will have a new Sparkler begin program in October. Please pay
attention to signs on the doors for scheduling and time to avoid
entering the Sparklers area when the student is in programming.
The desktop computer in the office is now fixed. Please feel free
to use it for any projects throughout the day.
Please remember to check student specific schedules frequently to
ensure that you are at the right place at the right time.
If you have office hours, please sanitize and clean the office
space. If it is after 2:30, please also vacuum and sanitize 88’s
space. We know illness has been going around frequently, and we
really want to help everyone to stay healthy.
WEEKLY MESSAGE FROM YOUR FRIENDLY
NEIGHBORHOOD TIRE KING!!!
Hello friends!
Cold weather is fast-approaching and snow won’t be far behind (dun dun DUNNNN). Time for warm clothes, hearty food and SNOW TIRES!!
Derek “the tire king” Barrows would like to offer help in finding
affordable shoes for your car (or maybe just some all seasons with
some more meat). Tires are the only part of your car that touch
the road… don’t neglect them!
If you’re interested, you can email me directly (derek.barrows@sdplus.org)
using the subject line I NEED TIRES – John P. Doe.
Please include your car’s tire size and/or year, make and model.
Tire sizes look like this: 225 55 R16. 3 digit number, two digit
number, R two digit number. A budget is helpful, too!
Good snow tires can be found for as low as $150-200. Or, ball out and I’ll find you some bad a** treads that will take you to the arctic circle.
Safe travels out there!
The Tire King (in the North)
October is nearly upon us. Thank you all for bearing with the craziness of the beginning of the school year. Have a good night, and a great rest of your week.
