Food Drive
Hey to all our amazing staff at SD!
With winter upon us, I wanted to reach
out to you all in an effort to help support a local organization!
Sadly, as we all know, hunger, homelessness, and mental illness
doesn’t change with the seasons. This time of year can be
especially difficult for those who are less fortunate. Pathways, a
local organization that works to end homelessness and other
difficulties our fellow Vermonters face, will sponsor a food drive
this winter.
WHEN: December 1st thru January
31st
WHERE: Boxes/bins will be in the
lobby for staff to put donations in (hoping to have these set up
by this Friday)
**If bins aren’t there Friday and you
have items to donate, please put in Operations office upstairs**
WHAT: Non-perishable food items
(see attached list)
It would be so warming to fill these
boxes ten times over! You’re an awesome group of caring,
compassionate and driven people! Let’s rock this drive!
If you have any questions, email operationsadmin@sdplus.org
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO AMAZING
<3
Montpelier is also sponsoring a food drive. Please remember to bring in any donations you would like to make during this time of giving. We have a tote in the office that still has plenty of space in it! There is a list in the tote of things to donate.

General Williston Info
If you require assistance in the case of an emergency (a
SUPPORT need), please press down the call button for at least
two seconds. This allows time for the signal to transmit to the
buzzer.
Please remember to take the time to do dishes with or for your client if you use them.
The front door has been sticking open a little bit due to variable temperatures. When opening or closing it, please make sure it shuts all the way.
Need snow tires, or know someone who does? Treat yourself (or
someone else to the perfect gift courtesy of…
Hello friends!
Cold weather is HERE, and so is the snow (dun dun DUNNNN). Time for warm clothes, hearty food and SNOW TIRES!!
Derek “the tire king” Barrows would like to offer help in finding
affordable shoes for your car (or maybe just some all seasons with
some more meat). Tires are the only part of your car that touch
the road… don’t neglect them!
If you’re interested, you can email me directly (derek.barrows@sdplus.org)
using the subject line I NEED TIRES – John P. Doe.
Please include your car’s tire size and/or year, make and model.
Tire sizes look like this: 225 55 R16. 3 digit number, two digit
number, R two digit number. A budget is helpful, too!
Good snow tires can be found for as low as $150-200. Or, ball out and I’ll find you some bad a** treads that will take you to the Arctic Circle.
Safe travels out there!
Have a great rest of the week! Thanks for the effort you put in each and every day.
