RE: COVID-19 Friday Night Update
Hello SD Staff,
Thank you so much for continuing to be flexible, thoughtful and patient. There are changes every day that require constant attention and adjustment. Next week, March 23rd, we will begin our Alternative Work Schedules and Remote Work from home Policy (click here). Please read and sign if possible, if you cannot, download and sign. Please send an email to your supervisor stating that you have read, understand and agree to the alternative work schedule and remote from home policy by Monday at noon. Your supervision will find away in the future to get you the document.
A couple of key things:
- Our positions are currently considered “essential employees” (link). Please note that gives you access to childcare. If needed please talk with your supervisor. Also, this means that our job responsibilities can change throughout this process.
- HIPPA guidelines have been lessened during this time and many platforms can be used to conduct online business, please remember Confidentiality is a must.If you are working at home and there are others in your home over the age of 18, please have them sign the visitor confidentiality form (click here).
- If at any time you want to supplement your Paycheck with PTO please use the online form and send to your supervisor, if you don’t have access to the form please put your request in writing to your supervisor no later than the last day of the pay period.
- 2020 already approved PTO will be honored. No future PTO for 2020 will be approved at this time. We will look at this again following the completion of the alternative schedules. PTO Cancellations will be honored for the month of March and April.
- If you need to be in one of the offices to get your job responsibilities done, we will maintain rigorous cleaning, access schedules for smaller spaces and contentious work habits.
- Time off During this Alternative Work Schedule – If you need time off /are unavailable to do your job responsibilities * you are out of town, doing a second job, too sick to respond, or do not want to work during this time or feel that you cannot work during this time, please email your supervisor and they will work with you on the best course of action. Examples of options: PTO, unpaid, leave of absence.
