RE: COVID-19 Tuesday Night Update

Hello S^D Staff,

Thank you so much for continuing to be flexible, thoughtful and patient. There are changes every day that require constant attention and adjustment.  We are continuing to stay up to date and informed with all orders and laws being put in place to support our employees. Here is what is currently being looked at and worked on by the Government (click here). Until we have further guidance, we will continue to practice leniency with the use of the alternative work schedules and following our current PTO usage policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your supervisor.

In order to ensure our employees and their families have access to the care they need during the COVID-19 pandemic; BCBSVT is extending an emergency COVID-19 special enrollment period to large group customers.

Special enrollment period

• This special enrollment period starts March 24^th, 2020 and will end April 17, 2020.
• Uninsured individuals enrolling during this special enrollment period will have an
  April 1, 2020 effective date.
• Please complete the enrollment application (click here) and send to operationsadmin@sdplus.org.
• You can find the insurance plans and rates here.
• Individuals already enrolled in a health plan may not make changes to their plans during this special enrollment period.
