A reminder about our dress code:
Employees who engage in work that puts them in a position where they meet the public are expected to present a professional appearance. This means good personal grooming habits and the proper attire for their position with SDAssociates. Shorts, tank tops, or other revealing dress are not appropriate. If your dress is determined to be inappropriate, you will be sent home to change, and you will be off the clock if you are a non exempt employee. When working directly with clients, clean, well made t-shirts, non-graphic (long or short sleeved), jeans or khakis and other durable, washable clothing are required. Shorts that are longer than knee-length are acceptable. Shorter shorts and all skirts are prohibited for safety reasons. In addition, it is unacceptable to wear workout attire, except for when exercising with a client.
Should you need to work with a client and wear a bathing suit, be mindful of dressing modestly. Employees will refrain from wearing large dangling earrings or other jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, rings which protrude from the finger, or other items that could cause injury to a student or to the employee. Ear and facial jewelry should be limited to small studs. Watches should have soft, leather, plastic or cloth bands. Footwear should consist of at athletic shoes, or other shoes that provide reasonable traction and ankle support for balance. No high heels, spikes, flip-flops or open toed shoes. Employees are asked to refrain from the use of excessive make-up, strongly fragranced personal hygiene products, perfumes and colognes Fingernails must be kept short enough to not leave an impression on the skin.
Smiles,
Lesha Rasco
