01 Hoopla 9/20/17
Good Day Everyone!
Here is your weekly Wednesday Hoopla for 9/20/17:
From H.R.:
- If you are interested in learning more about our employee discount through Liberty Mutual Ins. Co., please click on this link: https://www.libertymutual.com/sda
- Please be reminded that the pay period ends Sunday, 9.24.17. Employee time card approval needs to occur before the end of the day on Monday, 9.25.17
- Be aware that September is a “black out” month and if staff need PTO, they will need a doctors note.
From Reception:
- A reminder that if you are the afternoon BA on call and close for the evening, there is a “Closing List” at Rhonda’s desk that should be used and signed off on every night. Once completed, please leave on her desk.
- We used to have 2 spare laptops at her desk for BI’s to use for “office hours”. The bigger black one is missing. Please return that to Rhonda as soon as you can.
Note from Jimmy about PSI Callout/Support Person:
Hello everyone! I have some new information regarding your callout/support person. Your callout and support person are now one person and everyone will just have one, regardless of what teams/how many teams you are on!
When you need to call out, no matter what team you are calling out for that day, you will simply call your designated callout/support person and they will take it from there.
For example, I am Erik’s callout person, so he would only call me, even if he was calling out for 72 and 23 even though they are teams I’m less familiar with. From there, I would handle the callout with the specialized team.
Please check the SD website for the updated list to see who your callout/support person is. Just wanted to get this information out to everyone before viewing it to help avoid confusion on the new situation. Please email me with any questions/concerns/typos or mis-spellings you find on the list and I will update it. Thanks for all your help everyone!
And last but not least:
The Franklin County Maple Leafs Special Olympic team is selling raffle tickers for 4 Jay Peak Pump House day passes. One ticket is $1 and six tickets are $5. The drawing will be held October 15th. Tickets will be available until October 6th. Cash or checks are accepted. Checks can be made out to: VTSO with FCML written in the note area. Money raised will go towards funds to pay for practices, room and board for the summer Special Olympics, transportation to Special Olympics events, uniforms and all other expenses for the program. You can email Amanda Larose for tickets at: lynnamanda0223@gmail.com or buy them from Amanda when she is at the Williston Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Everyone enjoy the rest of their week!
Smiles,
Lesha
