From HR/BO:
- Please be reminded that Open Enrollment for 401K is July 1st. If you are a full-time employee who has worked for Sd for more than 6 months, you are eligible for this benefit. Please complete the attached form and return to us no later than 6.15.18. Let us know if you have any questions or need help filling out the form.
- Please refrain from using the Sdreceptionist e-mail for requests for orders or responding to Hooplas. Please use businessofficeadmin@sdplus.org for such correspondence.
- As of tomorrow morning, we have a new password for the Sd employee website: JollyJune2018!
Staff Retreat:
- We are working out the details for our full-staff retreat on Friday, June 29th. It will be held at the Hope Davey Park in Waterbury. As the committee meets and plans, we welcome your suggestions for activities. Are there activities we’ve done in the past that you enjoyed? New activities that you’d like to see? Also, in the past, we’ve had both t-shirts and hats custom made. Which do you prefer? Please contact any of the following staff on the planning committee with your ideas/suggestions: Anthony, Caitlin, Lesha, Wendy, Mary, Forreste, Sarah Kitchen, and Gabe. We appreciate your input!
Around the office:
- As you are aware, we have asked staff in offices and program spaces on the “student side” of the building to remove all tacks and bulletin boards. That being said, if you are needing a whiteboard, adhesive hooks, magnets, or tape to secure papers that you need close by, please e-mail the business office as businessofficeadmin@sdplus.org with your requests and we will do our best to order what you need.
- Parking spaces in the lot behind the building are reserved for STAFF DRIVING CLIENTS ONLY. Please park between the stakes to maximize parking capacity.
- The refrigerator in the Kitchen on the second floor is now for student food storage only. Staff can store food for lunches etc in the fridge on the second floor of the Office Side of the building.
- If you use the stove, please clean up any spills or grease afterwards. Also, PLEASE dispose of any remaining contents of coffee, juice, soda, and water before throwing paper cups/bottles into the trash/recycling. It makes quite a mess for our custodian to have to clean up! Thanks for your anticipated cooperation.
- Congrats to the two Sd relay teams who ran the Burlington City Marathon last weekend. According to Jess M., both teams “did a tremendous job getting to the race, running fast, and representing Sd!”
